Position Descriptions

Game-Day Co-Chairperson (Brickell)– This person would help organize volunteers for the game-day watching events. They would organize the schedule for volunteers at each location, help with tickets for door prizes, play the War Chant, man the microphone at game day watches and create new ways to raise funds and excitement during game day watches.

Game-Day Co-Chairperson (Doral)– This person would help organize volunteers for the game-day watching events. Community Service Co-Chairperson – In charge of planning the annual Seminole Service Day, a volunteer day in the Spring usually held on the weekend. It is one event that engages Miami Seminole Club members to volunteer in the community on behalf of the university. All other Seminole Clubs across the county participate in this and share our volunteer project on the website each year.

Community Service Co-Chairperson – This person would be active and passionate about volunteering in the community. They would help create awareness and organize events that Miami Seminole Club members can volunteer in during the year such as Habitat for Humanity Projects, Run/Walk fundraisers for charitable causes etc.

Social Co-Chairperson – This person would take the lead on planning social events throughout the year for members (the annual kick-off event, pub crawls, helping with networking events etc.)

Social Media / Public Relations Co-Chairpersons – These individual would ideally have experience in the communications and public relations industry. They would take the lead on creating awareness for the alumni club in the community and helping coordinate communication for events and activities within the club. These persons will be in charge of Social Media page and will post appropriate and positive new stories about Florida State University and the Miami Seminole Club.

 Young Alumni Co-Chairperson – Reaches out to young alumni to join the club. Helps plan events to encourage these individuals to join the Alumni Association or Seminole Boosters and get involved.

Networking Chairperson – This person would take the lead on coming up with ideas and planning events for networking opportunities with the Miami Seminole Club. They would be in charge of coming up with ways to help encourage Noles to network and help each other out within the organization and with other local organizations (potentially planning networking events with other alumni groups or professional organizations).

 Sponsorship Chairperson – Helps secure sponsorships for events and continue to build relationships with past sponsors.

Booster Tour Chairperson – Works with the senior board to organize and plan events during the annual Seminole Boosters tour.

Member-At-Large – Keeps up relationships with membership. This person would be   an outgoing and social individual at all events, welcoming new members and introducing them to other members. They would also help strategize ways to engage members to get involved.

Graphic Design/Website Expert – This can be one or two individuals, that will help maintain the website’s back-end if changes are needed.  But mostly will be designing flyers or announcements to post on social media or print.
